Construction of Buildings and Facilities

The project envisages the complete renewal of the street lights of the town of Varshets and the other settlements within the municipality – the villages of Spanchevtsi, Dolna Bela Rechka, Gorna Bela Rechka, Stoyanovo, Dolno Ozirovo, Gorno Ozirovo, Cherkaski, and Draganitsa. The main goals, which are expected to be achieved through the implementation of the project, are lower costs for maintenance of the street lighting, less traffic accidents and higher level of protection for pedestrians, more aesthetic vision of the included settlements and better throughput capacity of the street network.

Implemented Activities: Replacement of the existing street and park lighting with 2,316 pcs. of new energy efficient light fixtures of increased light yield, longer lifespan and modern design; construction of 260 pcs. of new outdoor light posts; replacement of the existing aerial network; laying of cable PVC pipes and construction of cable shafts, installation of new lighting panels and centralized lighting control system.
